How to change banks to Bankwest
Get started in a few easy steps
1. Open a Bankwest bank account
We've got a wide range of accounts with lots of different perks. Browse them and find one that suits your needs.
2. Migrate incoming payments
Transfer your salary, Centrelink payments and any other income to your new account.
3. Transfer direct debits
Arrange to have regular payments like bills, mortgage, rent and memberships debited from your new account. Take a look at our list of direct debitors.
4. Close your old account
Once you’re sure all your debits, credits and payments have been transferred, you can close your old account.
