To make an international transfer, you’ll need:
If you’re sending money to certain countries, you might also need an International Bank Account Number (IBAN). It’s a good idea to check if you’ll need the recipient’s IBAN, so they can send it to you if they need to. 3
If you’re a Master user, you’ll need to give any Administrator and Employee users International Transfer payment privileges to their account.
The default limit is either your current daily payment limit or $50,000 (whichever is lower). You can send a maximum of $100,000 for each International Transfer payment – if you need to send more than $100,000 or permanently/temporarily change your International Transfer payment limit, get in touch with your Relationship Manager or call us on 13 7000. If you don’t want to be able to send money overseas, you can also set your limit to $0.
International Transfer payments that are submitted and approved before the cut-off time will be processed the same day. Payments approved after the payment cut-off time will be processed the next business day.
Before you send money overseas make sure that you are aware of the relevant fees and charges outlined in the Your Guide to Banking Fees (PDF).
