Answer
If you’ve issued a cheque and you want to stop it going through, select ‘Customer service’ in the left side menu and then ‘Stop a cheque’. You’ll just need to fill in the details, including:
- The account
- Cheque number
- Amount
- Payee.
Otherwise, you can enter the ‘cheque range’ (range of cheque numbers) to stop multiple cheques within a given range.
After you’ve entered the details, you just need to click ‘Submit’. Keep in mind that fees apply to stop cheques.
