Can I switch or split my existing home loan between fixed and variable?

You may be able to split your loan so part of it is on a fixed rate and part is on a variable rate. You may also be able to switch from a variable rate to a fixed rate or from a fixed rate to a variable rate, depending on your eligibility. Keep in mind that break fees may apply if you switch from a fixed rate before the end of your fixed term.

Use the Bankwest App to see what your options are for switching your loan. Go to your home loan and tap 'Manage', then 'Your options' under the loan type. If you're eligible, you can even switch your home loan in just a few minutes in the app.
